Instructions for viewing radiographs/ultrasound images with eFilm Lite:
1. Insert provided CD into computer.
2. Most computers will automatically boot the eFilm software. Follow the instructions given on the initial screen to view and manipulate radiographs.
3. If your computer does not automatically boot the e-Film software, click my computer then right click on the CD drive (should be named VetPACS cases) and choose “Autoplay.” Follow the instructions given on the initial screen to view and manipulate radiographs.
Instructions for viewing radiographs online:
1. Use Internet Explorer. Will not work with other browsers.
2. Go to http://www.soundeklin.com/support/webcodes
3. Enter the WebCode number found on the upper right-hand corner of your Examination Report or on the Diagnostic Imaging Report.
a. The number zero is tall and thin: 0
b. The letter ‘O’ is wider : O
c. Make sure to click the “Submit” button when finished; do not hit the “Enter” key on your keyboard.
4. If using the DarkHorse site for the first time, you may need to allow the website to install viewing software. Then, enter the Webcode again and you should be able to view images.
5. In some cases, setting the browser security level to Medium or lower may solve problems with viewing radiographs.
a. To do this in Internet Explorer 7, go to the ‘Tools’ menu, then ‘Internet Options’ and click on the ‘Security’ tab.
b. Under ‘Security level for this zone’ drag the slider down to the ‘Medium’ setting and then click ‘OK.’
6. Cases are not immediately available. Cases will be available 24-48 hours after the images were made.
7. Ultrasound images cannot be viewed online.
