Often referred to as "Diagnostic Imaging," Radiology is the branch of veterinary medicine dealing with many different imaging modalities such as radiography (x-rays), CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.  Currently at TVEC, we are using state-of-the-art ultrasound (Philips HD15) and digital radiography to help improve the lives of your pet.

Although all veterinarians receive training in radiography, Board Certified radiologists receive specialized and intensive training in each of the different modalities.  Typically, radiologists work with other veterinarians to help obtain and interpret imaging studies.  In human medicine, most imaging studies are reviewed by a radiologist.  In veterinary medicine, this is not always the case.

At TVEC, our Radiologist is available to help pet owners and veterinarians with all aspects of veterinary medical imaging.  Call us if you have any questions or would like to schedule imaging for your patient.

Pet owners, please contact your primary care veterinarian first.
